چکیده
An iterative formula for the Green polynomial is given using vertex operator realization of Hall-Littlewood function. Based on this, (1) a general combinatorial given; (2) several compact formulas are Green's polynomials associated with upper partitions length $\leq 3$ and diagonal lengths 3$; (3) Murnaghan-Nakayama type obtained; (4) an derived bitrace finite linear group $G$ Iwahori-Hecke algebra $A$ permutation module by its Borel subgroup.

Twisted vertex operators and Bernoulli polynomials
Using general principles in the theory of vertex operator algebras and their twisted modules, we obtain a bosonic, twisted construction of a certain central extension of a Lie algebra of differential operators on the circle, for an arbitrary twisting automorphism. The construction involves the Bernoulli polynomials in a fundamental way. We develop new identities and principles in the theory of ...
متن کاملThe correlation functions of vertex operators and Macdonald polynomials
The n-point correlation functions introduced by Bloch and Okounkov have already found several geometric connections and algebraic generalizations. In this note we formulate a q ,t-deformation of this n-point function. The key operator used in our formulation arises from the theory of Macdonald polynomials and affords a vertex operator interpretation. We obtain closed formulas for the n-point fu...
متن کاملVertex operators for the supermembrane
We derive the vertex operators that are expected to govern the emission of the massless d = 11 supermultiplet from the supermembrane in the light cone gauge. We demonstrate that they form a representation of the supersymmetry algebra and reduce to the type-IIA superstring vertex operators under double-dimensional reduction, as well as to the vertices of the d = 11 superparticle in the point-par...
متن کاملGauge-covariant vertex operators
We derive Yang-Mills vertex operators for (super)string theory whose BRST invariance requires only the free gauge-covariant field equation and no gauge condition. Standard conformal field theory methods yield the three-point vertices directly in gauge-invariant form. E-mail address: [email protected] E-mail address: [email protected]
متن کاملExts and Vertex Operators
The direct product of two Hilbert schemes of the same surface has natural K-theory classes given by the alternating Ext groups between the two ideal sheaves in question, twisted by a line bundle. We express the Chern classes of these virtual bundles in terms of Nakajima operators.
